Who we are
ukkin is a ticketing service for in-person events. It is run by company name, legal form and address to be confirmed.
In these terms, “we” means that company. “You” means anyone who uses the site: a buyer, an organizer or a helper.
For the lawyer: company details, the law that applies and the competent courts.
What the service does
We let organizers put events on sale and check people in at the door. We let buyers find an event, pay by card and keep their ticket on their phone.
We are not the organizer. The organizer runs the event: the place, the date, the show and everything that happens there.
Buying tickets
- No account. You give your name and phone number, and confirm the phone with a code we send by SMS.
- Up to 10 tickets in one order.
- When you press Continue, your seats are held for 10 minutes while you pay. After that, they go back on sale.
- The ticket price and the service fee are shown before you pay.
- A ticket is like cash: whoever shows it first at the door gets in. Keep its code private.
- You can give a ticket to a friend by writing their name on the back, and change the name until the ticket is scanned.
Organizers
- You are responsible for your event: that it takes place as described, at the place and time shown, with the permits it needs.
- What you publish must be true: title, date, place, prices and what each tier includes.
- You can create up to 5 tiers per event, each with its own price and number of seats. A ticket already sold keeps the name and price it was bought at.
- Posters are made for you from your event’s details. You cannot upload images.
- Helpers you invite scan tickets for you. You are responsible for who you invite, and you can remove them at any time.
Payments
- Card payments go through SATIM. We accept CIB and Edahabia cards.
- Buyers pay a service fee on each paid ticket: 5% of the price, at least 50 DA. Free tickets have no fee.
- We hold the money from ticket sales and pay it to the organizer after the event, minus refunds.
For the lawyer: holding money for organizers, invoices and taxes.
Refunds
- A buyer can ask for a refund from their ticket. The organizer decides.
- If the organizer cancels the event, every buyer is refunded to the card they paid with.
- How long a refund takes to reach the card depends on SATIM and the bank. We do not promise a delay.
- Whether the service fee is refunded: to be confirmed.
For the lawyer: consumer rules for event tickets, and cancelled or moved events.
At the door
- Each ticket gets in once. If the same ticket is scanned twice, the first scan wins.
- Every scan is logged, including refused ones: which ticket, which phone, which helper, when, and the result.
- A refunded ticket, or a ticket for another event, does not get in.
- Show the ticket page itself: it carries a moving frame and a live clock.
Free tickets and packs
- Each event includes 100 free tickets.
- For more, an organizer buys a pack before selling: +100 for 2 000 DA and +500 for 8 000 DA.
- Guests added by hand count as free tickets.
- Paid tickets are never limited.
Fair play
- Our fraud checks look at what happens at the door, for example tickets of one event scanned at another.
- If something looks wrong, free tickets for that event pause while paid sales go on, and a person on our team reviews it.
- Never a silent ban: you see why, and you can reply.
What is not allowed
- Publishing an event that does not exist, or that you do not run.
- False information about an event, its prices or its tiers.
- Copying, changing or faking tickets.
- Using door mode or a helper access for another event.
- Using someone else’s phone number without their consent.
- Trying to break, overload or get around the service.
- Events or content that break Algerian law.
We may stop an event or an access that breaks these rules. You see why, and you can reply.
